Assembler, EM

Position Summary

We are looking for a new member to join our Manufacturing Operations department, based in Pomezia (Rome). The EM Assembler will assembly various electronic, electric, plastic and metal components by using hand and automated equipment. Other duties are performed as defined by Team Lead.

Duties

• Perform visual sorting or inspection of incoming raw materials and/or production assemblies as directed, to meet quality standards through production process
• Assemble components according to standard procedures, drawings, electrical schematics or different Lead  instructions if required. 
• Interact with other functions (Quality, Warehouse) in order to share information and/or fix problems when necessary.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fastening devices.
• Performs hand soldering, wire cutting, stripping and pinning of cables, quality assurance testing on certain sub-assemblies and packaging of certain finished products.
• Use hand drills, tools, automated tapers, crimper, soldering iron.
• Able to perform other tasks if required by Lead

Education Degree

Required Experience

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical assemblies
• Basic knowledge of working bench tools
• Basic manufacturing flows knowledge
• Flexibility in moving through different working stations
• Basic knowledge of PC and Office Applications
