Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Manager, retrieves customer orders from Oracle, enters stock transfers to outside warehouses, handles receiving functions, performs Oracle and Prism inventory transactions. 

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracies confirms returned material authorizations (RMA’s), performs documentation functions for domestic and international shipments, documenting warehouse performance, serves as backup for the equipment room technician, maintains the record retention functions for St. Louis.

Interacts closely with customer service to resolve problems with customer orders, and various clerical duties.

Duties

  • RMA processing, monitoring and resolving Open Batch Report.
  • Responsible for all transaction inventory functions and controls associated with Oracle and Prism systems.
  • Departmental expert of Oracle System performing ISO and cycle count results.
  • Preparation of International shipping documentation and coordinate/communicate with supervisors and management about timing for bookings/shipments/schedules. Coordinate with forwarders/customers/sales as required to ship orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monthly Labor analysis, daily order processing matrix, Quarantine activity, Clippership update and Oracle inventory analysis of variances/issues. Matrix LTL productivity, picking error report analysis, order office supplies as required, maintain shipping document files paper and electronic.
  • Support Department Manager’s daily objectives.
  • Equipment room support and backup.
  • Record retention administration
  • Incumbent must be able to investigate inventory discrepancies and trouble shoot transactions for optimum inventory controls.
  • Handle daily requirements from internal and external customers, resolving all issues.
  • Significant interaction with all levels of the operation.
  • Expected to develop several alternatives to office duties and identify best solutions and implement accordingly, communicate to associates proper procedures and operational systems for consistent results

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • Three or more years of general office experience,
  • High School Diploma required
  • Must have knowledge and operational fluency of: using a calculator, fax machine, copier, computer, Microsoft Office, and computer-networked printers.

Preferred Experience

  • Associate's degree in Business preferred 
  • Inventory Tracking knowledge, AS/400, PRISM, Oracle and Integration Point knowledge.
  • One or more years Business School courses or College.

Skills

  • Must work well with minimal supervision; overtime may be required.
  • This individual must be dependable, punctual, flexible, attentive to detail, have good oral and written communication skills, be self-motivated and possess a congenial phone presence.

Working Conditions

  • Works in office and Distribution Center area, and occasional meetings at the St. Louis plant. Travel to Mentor Ohio is rare but possible for training, etc.
