This position pays $30/hour plus $1.25 shift differential and works an overnight shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00AM. (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and - Every Other Wednesday schedule) and offers overtime potential based on business needs.
What you will do with us:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on all plant equipment
- Validate processing equipment in a sterilization environment.
- Participate in installation of new equipment, and maintenance of the electrical system
- Conduct scheduled safety and maintenance inspections
- Maintain a spare part program
- Respond to off-shift maintenance calls on a rotating on-call schedule
How you will learn your role:
- Review work instructions along with vital policies and procedures
- Take part in on-the-job training, overseen by your Hiring Manager
- Demonstrate ability to meet the requirements of the job
Education Degree:
- High School Diploma or GED
You will be a great fit if you can:
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Show a minimum of 1-3 years related experience in positions demonstrating knowledge of mechanical maintenance, and/or HVAC systems, and/or electrician experience
- Demonstrate the ability to follow safety rules and be safety aware at all times
- Demonstrate the desire to learn, be productive and contribute to the team
- Demonstrate reliability and dependability
- Successfully complete the company Operator training to become certified as an Operator -AND- pass Operator recertification tests annually
- Lift up to 50 lbs. - due to the physical nature of the job, requiring strength and endurance (Must Pass the initial physical capacity evaluation test and annual physical)
