Position Summary
The Product Management Intern will work with the Product Management team to support implementing marketing plans and product strategy for a portfolio of medical devices and accessories used for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. This Internship provides students with the opportunity to enhance their academic development by gaining real world marketing experience at a medical device company that focuses on new product development. In this position, you will build relationships across the organization and contribute to critical marketing initiatives at a growing medical device organization.

- Work Environment: Hybrid
- Hours: Part-time for the duration of your internship
What You'll Do as a Product Management Intern
- Gain an understanding of the medical device business and STERIS Procedural GI product portfolio.
- Provide support to the Product Management Team with development and implementation of marketing plans for new and existing product lines.
- Provide market intelligence on the trends, customers, competitors and other factors affecting the marketplace to support management decision making.
- Assist with conducting “Voice of Customer” interviews to understand unmet needs of the market.
- Analyze data to support key marketing metrics for financial and market reports on product portfolio.
- Partner with Product Management Team on developing sales collateral & supporting promotions.
- Collaborate in cross-functional projects teams on new product development projects.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree - marketing, communications, or engineering (biomedical, mechanical, electrical) preferred
- Junior year requirements must be completed by program start (August 2026)
- Interest in pursuing a career in marketing
- High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Preferred:
- Previous Internship experience strongly desired
- Experience in a healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
Other:
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Demonstrated ability to structure and manage a project from start to finish
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
