Position Summary

Coordinate efforts for the maintenance of machinery, plant facilities and equipment in a productive manner. Supervise maintenance supervisors and planner and review with them activities related to maintaining and repairing physical systems of the facility through corrective, planned & preventive maintenance programs. Supervise repair and maintenance of buildings and mechanical equipment installed in these buildings. Ensure timely installation and upkeep of the company’s property and systems in order to ensure operational effectiveness. Delegates to their subordinates common tasks and is directly involved in administrative activities like maintenance budgeting and contract negotiations.

 

Responsible for the implementation of environment, health and safety initiatives, performs duties in compliance with regulations, also is the responsible to have corrective and preventive actions to avoid any safety risk in the facility.

Responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety programs. Review and update institutional HSE policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures, identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees. This involves assessing the nature of business activities, number of employees and existing policies, continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organization.

Duties

- Responsible to implement corrective maintenance program in all production machines and equipment in an efficient manner that would allow a minimum damage in machine efficiency in the shop floor. Escalate critical issues in the plant to higher levels.

- Manages maintenance projects and coordinates repair to the facilities.

- Direct the preventive maintenance program in the most critical machines inside CNC, Sheet metal, Pressure welding and assembly areas.

- Develop HSE and maintenance teams through identifying opportunity areas and providing specific tasks to improve, search & select specific training for the team.

- Supervises, plan and manage department activities providing a safe work environment in the facility and plan, execute & control budget.

- Maintain and manage work order system to all the request of service for machinery, facilities or equipment, giving fast response to the plant issues.

- Follow up of repairs with external suppliers.

- Ensure that the OHSAS management system is established implemented and maintained in accordance with the standard regulations.

- Ensure the reports on the performance OHSAS management system are presented to top management for review and used as a basis for improvement of the OHSAS management system.

- Ensure that the CTPAT program is established & implemented. 

- Prepares necessary information to show in audits according with the good practices in maintenance and EHS standard regulations.

- Main support/advisor in all related to the Quality System and the regulations applicable to the site.

 - Review safety audits on personnel, equipment and materials

- Evaluate, assess and modify safety procedures and policies

- Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts

- Track incident metrics and apply findings

- Lead injury and incident inquiries and evaluations

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Engineering General

Required Experience

  1. Demonstrated technical knowledge related to area of responsibility, e.g. such as CNC, Robots, Electronic, Electrical, and Mechanic.
  2. Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in manufacturing environment,
  3. Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience leading profedsionals and technical employees as part of a team,
  4. Five (8) years of experience programing maintenance for CNC and robotic machines.
  5. Demonstrated specific knowledge of HSE norms and policies
