HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Responsible for providing end to end support for all STERIS’ Information Technology systems & software for both business systems and technical infrastructure within corporate/non corporate facilities. Contributes to new/ongoing Information Technology projects for the installation and rollout of I.T. systems. Interfaces with STERIS local/global management teams ensuring adherence to corporate and global standards. Acts as a liaison between the Corporate I.T. Department and the business entities in each location to satisfy both Corporate and local business objectives. Writes product requirement documents, tracks development timelines, negotiates feature sets with the development leads and product vendors. Engages fully and actively participates in the STERIS Zero Trust cybersecurity project, working alongside site managers, IT Site Managers and where required the Service Desk Manager to manage threats and maintain a secure environment for our customers and our users. Participate in business activities and provide support specific to each remote facility respectively. Business activities such as Lean Events or other productivity improvements, working with local resources such as the security department and telephone operators, facilities management functions, cost control initiatives

Duties

Contribute to projects for major system implementations e.g., application system changes / facility relocations / new business systems.

Install, configure, and maintain business system applications and interfaces to support the business requirements In line with ISO/FDA controls, supervises the required record-keeping and data management systems.  Provides input for warehouse designs and logistics.

Install, configure, and maintain organization’s local and wide area network, including wiring to STERIS standard, in conjunction with other business units, IS teams and external consultants as required.

Install, configure, and maintain mobile and fixed telephone and voice messaging systems to STERIS standard, in conjunction with other business units, IS teams and external consultants as required.

Install, configure, and maintain servers and workstations to STERIS standard in conjunction with other business units, IS teams and external consultants as required.

Support the Microsoft stack within STERIS maintaining uptime for our customers/users.

Assist database administrators in troubleshooting client/server environments.. 

Working knowledge of Intune and Microsoft AutoPilot technologies and in supporting/transitioning/deploying or upgrading site telephone systems.

Contribute to evaluations of hardware and software relating to business systems requests.

Provide immediate notification to corporate teams of incidents e.g., Virus outbreak, LAN/WAN outages.

Assist in the troubleshooting and resolution of associated problems.

Education Degree

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience.

Driver license is needed for traveling to the sites.
