The Role:

The STERIS AST Emerging Talent Program is a rotational, hands-on experience for new college graduates, in the functions of Operations Management, with exposure to Supply Chain / Logistics, Marketing, Sales and Engineering. Through this program, participants will be immersed into the operation, while enhancing their management, leadership, analytical and project management skills through practical real-world experience and “in the moment” coaching and development. These roles will maintain responsibilities relating to strategic business issues with significant exposure to business leaders and cross-functional areas, across AST Americas.

What you will do with us:

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the sterilization process and industry
  • Directly contribute to facility management through hands-on and interactive management opportunities; partner with facility leadership to understand the coaching, engagement, and performance management processes
  • Work as a collaborative team member in operations projects / initiatives to help increase operational efficiencies and provide tangible results
  • Contribute to the development of our culture of Lean and Continuous Improvement; assist employees in resolving process problems through a drive to root cause and permanent corrective action process

What you will need to be successful:

  • Educational Background: Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Technical Field, or related field (required)
  • Geographic mobility (required) - primarily the Northeast states
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Strong leadership potential, demonstrated by past positions of responsibility / work experience
  • At least one relevant semester/summer internship experience in an operations environment (preferred)
  • Analytical, logical, inquisitive, problem solvers who are willing to challenge, using innovative thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An enthusiastic perspective
  • Flexible and adaptable

 Pay range for this opportunity is $50,250.00 - $70,350.00.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
