Job Title:  Equipment Maintenance Technician

The starting pay is $30+ an hour with consideration given to start higher based upon previous experience! An additional $3.00 shift differential will be added to base pay.  This position works a night shift rotation: (3 days on 3 days off) and offers overtime potential based on business needs.  

What you will do with us:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on all plant equipment
• Validate processing equipment in a sterilization environment. 
• Participate in installation of new equipment, and maintenance of the electrical system 
• Conduct scheduled safety and maintenance inspections

How you will learn your role:

• Review work instructions along with vital policies and procedures
• Take part in on-the-job training, overseen by your Hiring Manager
• Demonstrate ability to meet the requirements of the job

Education Degree:

You will be a great fit if you can:

• Show a minimum of three (3) years of related experience in positions demonstrating knowledge of mechanical maintenance (heavy equipment or technical/electronic) and/or machine operation and/or electrician experience
• Demonstrate the ability to follow safety rules and be safety aware at all times.
• Demonstrate the ability to read, interpret, and practically apply electrical ladder diagrams and mechanical blueprints.
• Show working knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) or other types of process control equipment.
• Show a strong ability to read meters for AC/DC, OHMs, and 4-20 Volts
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently under general guidelines and supervision.
• Demonstrate computer skills and word processing, spreadsheet and software capabilities re: maintenance 
• work order, inventory and downtime software.
• Provide effective interpersonal skills as demonstrated through prior experience.
• Provide above average organizing, analyzing and a minimum of Level 3 math skills (ratios, proportions, basic algebra) to determine organizational Customer and regulatory problems to formulate corrective action plans.
• Adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.
