We are currently recruiting for a Environmental Social and Governance Manager vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at a skilled level in a division that drives the business forwards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ESG Project Manager will spearhead the implementation of our sustainability strategy and programs. They will collaborate across the supply chain, engaging with businesses, corporate teams, industry groups, and downstream customers to deliver practical sustainability solutions. The goal is to enable business growth while meeting external expectations for transparency through ESG reporting and initiatives.

  • The role is responsible for overseeing cross-divisional sustainability teams to drive KPIs for ESG goals around carbon, waste, and water.
  • Lead the implementation of a multi-year ESG strategy that aligns with the company’s vision.
  • Serve as the SME for GHG emissions and carbon footprint, which includes managing data and tracking systems.
  • Own the process for customer survey request process to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
  • The role will have managerial responsibilities for leading, coaching, and motivating a small team.
  • Lead the submissions for formal evaluations conducted by leading CSRS research and ratings firms, including MSCI, ISS, and CDP and others.
  • Manage the company sustainability website and assist with the publication of the Corporate Responsibility / Sustainability Report.
  • Implement and managing solutions for maintaining consistent and accurate tracking and reporting on CSRS performance.
  • Partner with data analytics to analyze data and manage the ESG dashboard to expand metrics tracked.
  • Partner with the marketing and communications teams to optimally position sustainability at the customer level and internally to tell the story of our efforts across the supply chain.
  • Engage with engineering teams to optimize sustainable operations and product development.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in driving corporate responsibility functions, including ESG, sustainability, EHS, compliance, internal audit, investor relations, or Customer relations

Preferred Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible.
  • Strong problem solving and project management skills

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Technical knowledge and experience with relevant standards and reporting frameworks, including GRI, SASB, IIIRC, CDP and others. 
  • Understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and experience with evolving approaches to corporate reporting on alignment, prioritization and progress.
  • Digital design experience preferred.
  • Experience with data analytics preferred.
