SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the SMS/text messaging program operated by STERIS Corporation. By enrolling in, using, or receiving messages from our SMS program, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Program Description

We may send you text messages related to recruitment and hiring activities, including but not limited to:
  • Job opportunities and alerts
  • Application status updates
  • Interview scheduling and reminders
  • General recruiting-related communications

Messages will be sent to the mobile number you provided when you opted in through our career site, CRM, or ATS platform.

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at dataprotection@STERIS.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By opting into our SMS program, you expressly consent to receive text messages from us. Consent is not a condition of employment or of using our services. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt in by providing your phone number during the application process, through our career site, or via other enrollment methods provided by us.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message, and then you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.

If you want to rejoin, you may opt in again through our career site or by contacting candidate support.

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have questions about your text or data plan, contact your mobile carrier.

Our SMS program is supported on major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Please note that wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Information collected through our SMS program will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

8. Changes to Terms

We may revise, suspend, or terminate this SMS program at any time without notice. Updates to these Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
