Position Summary

 The primary function of the Quality Technician is to perform medical device evaluations and monitor the quality of outgoing medical devices. Individuals with previous experience in a medical setting typically have transferrable skills to this role. 

  1. Evaluates incoming medical devices in accordance with procedure guidelines to accurately prepare service/repair estimates. 
  2. Performs routine testing for product release.
  3. Validates accuracy of outgoing repair documentation.
  4. Provides feedback to QA and production departments concerning technician and product performance.
  5. Performs quality performance data collection.
  6. Aware of and conforms to company ISO goals and objectives and supports company ISO requirements. 
Education Degree
High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
  1. Work experience of 1-2 years accepted.
  2. Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word and Excel and ability to learn Oracle data management, enter data onto Oracle using well defined procedures. 
  3. Ability to compare surgical device to defined standard. 
  4. Ability to hold firm on findings related to surgical devices. 
  5. Experience in working with medical devices or quality principles preferred.
