We are currently recruiting for a Head of Marketing role. This is an excellent opportunity to join us at leadership level in a division that drives the business forwards through the supply of critical products and services to the Healthcare industry. This role will report in to the Managing Director of Healthcare UK, and work closely with the EMEA Healthcare Marketing Director based in the US.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Head of Marketing will plan and direct the STERIS Healthcare business development throughout the UK and Ireland via the direct and indirect sales channels, in close cooperation with, and as a part of, the UK SMT. Develop internal and external support infrastructure to assist in managing and driving marketing, branding, training, and product launch initiatives. This is an exciting time to join the business after the healthcare industry has seen some big changes over the last few years, this role will be in a position to really shape the future of STERIS and strengthen our position as a market leader.

1. Develops and implements strategies to ensure growth in all business units whilst ensuring retention in mature/developed market positions developing Business Plans in collaboration with Sales and Commercial Teams for each Business unit.

2. Work closely with the EMEA Marketing Director, Healthcare to ensure close alignment to each BU Strategy whilst ensuring local implementation delivers to UK market needs through successful management and alignment with each of the UK Business Unit Marketing Managers and Sales Leadership

3. Monitors marketing budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts, delivering results within the agreed annual budget.

4. Complete monthly activity reports/Scorecards detailing strategies and outcomes/counter measures ensuring all BU’s objectives remain on track and deliver against agreed business plans.

5. Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing sales data, market trends, forecasts and account analysis, new product information, product positioning.

6. Work closely with the Commercial Director to support development of pricing policies and reimbursement strategies ensuring market feedback on pricing is current as part of the feedback process.

7. Conduct ongoing research on competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing and advertising, maintaining research databases, ensuring feedback to the EMEA Marketing Director for future product/pricing development

8. Manage launches of new products in UK and Ireland through direct and indirect sales channels

9. Develop and maintain KOL strategy to support with Advisory boards/Education requirements/Event Support and Brand

10. Management of the UK Marketing team across all Business Units and supporting marketing functions including MarComs

11. Deliver and shape the STERIS Healthcare branding strategy in conjunction with the EMEA Marketing Director to ensure Brand clarity in the UK market and the sub-brands

12. Support integration efforts in the UK to ensure consistency across tools and resources and protect the Brand equities

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
