Job Title:  Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources Department to support Talent Acquisition activities for the  Legal Entities of STERIS AST in EMEA to include Ireland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and Czech Republic in strong partnership with Country HR and Global TA COE.

Talent Acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, screening, planning interview and deliver the best candidates pipelines.

To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant should be able to develop and nurture trusting relationships with hiring managers and candidates and ensure the right delivery of recruitment processes in terms of quality of candidates and in accordance with established timelines.

Duties

1. Conduct intake meetings to fully understand job profiles to manage

2. Posting adverts on STERIS Career Page and job boards

3. Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn

4. Screen candidates fitting with the required profile

5. Plan and execute preliminary interviews

6. Own candidate funnel, including tracking and reporting

7. Follow up with candidates and with hiring leaders

8. Build and manage a pipeline of active and passive candidates

9. Contribute to ensure the best hiring experience to candidates and hiring leaders

10. Support to the organization of Talent Acquisition initiatives such as career day events or job fairs

Education Degree

Required Experience

• Up to 2 years previous experience as Talent Acquisition Specialist/ Recruiter
• Fluent in English
• Bachelor or Master Degree plus a post graduation course in Human Resources Management
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) i.e. SuccessFactors, Workday. 

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Keen understanding of the various roles within the Organization
• Strong sense of urgency on tasks and deadlines
• Focus on results
• Data accuracy

Skills

Previous experience in Medical Device/Pharma/Dental field will be a plus
