Working Pattern

Week 1 (43 hours):
Monday at 8:00-18:00
Tuesday-Thursday at 7:00-18:00


Week 2 (51 hours):
Monday-Tuesday at 18:00-6:00
Friday at 6:00-17:00
Saturday-Sunday at 6:00-14:00


Week 3 (32 hours):
Wednesday-Thursday at 18:00-6:00
Friday at 17:00-1:00


Average of 42 hours per week. Candidate needs to be available for overtimes for holiday seasons.

What You Will Do

E-beam, or electron beam, technology utilizes accelerated electrons to sterilize or process materials, particularly in industries like healthcare and food packaging. As an E-beam Process Shift Leader at STERIS, your role revolves around overseeing the safe and efficient operation of e-beam sterilization processes. You'll ensure adherence to strict safety and quality standards, lead a team of operators, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize operations. Your responsibilities include monitoring equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence within the team.

What is involved?


  • Take charge of premises and customer goods security during silent hours.
  • Record safety concerns and ensure all staff wear appropriate PPE.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and attend Health & Safety Committee meetings.
  • Actively monitor and improve safety practices.


  • Manage quarantine processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of any damage.


  • Lead daily meetings and ensure accurate documentation of shift activities.
  • Process customer products according to specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness and adherence to standards.


  • Monitor consumable stocks and take initiative in resolving issues.
  • Support maintenance activities and system testing.


  • Lead and motivate the team while ensuring clear communication.
  • Assist with training and performance evaluations.
  • Assign tasks and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.


  • Act as a leader, identifying issues and offering solutions.
  • Provide coaching and corrective actions when needed.
  • Monitor work areas for safety hazards and attend site meetings as required.


  • Maintain flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
  • Support site initiatives and promote company values.
