Summary

Are you an expert in Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) Reprocessing or Sterile Processing technologies? We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Executive to lead our product expertise and marketing communication in Japan. Reporting into Managing Director, China & Japan, you will develop and deliver localized training materials, maintain key relationships, and adapt global strategies to fit local market needs. Your role will also involve market intelligence, data analysis, and executing impactful training programs.

What You Will Do

Product Expertise & Training Development

  • Act as the primary expert and spokesperson for STERIS CSSD Reprocessing technologies and assigned product portfolios in Japan, maintaining deep technical knowledge.
  • Develop localized training materials (e.g., manuals, presentations) and independently deliver product training to customers, dealers, and internal teams.
  • Maintain relationships with KOLs to strengthen brand credibility and industry influence.

Market Strategy Localization & Execution

  • Translate and adapt HQ materials (product strategies, sales tools, marketing collateral) into Japanese, ensuring alignment with local market needs.
  • Create localized product sales kits and effectively communicate product strategies to internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure brand consistency while addressing regional market dynamics.

Market Intelligence & Data Analysis

  • Collect, analyze, and report on Japan market data, including competitor activities, industry trends, and customer insights.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to optimize product positioning and marketing strategies based on data-driven insights.

Marketing Communications & Event Management

  • Plan and execute marketing activities (seminars, workshops, educational events) to promote assigned product portfolios and enhance brand visibility.
  • Manage end-to-end Marcom campaigns, including digital marketing, content creation, and cross-channel promotion.
  • Track and evaluate campaign effectiveness, adjusting tactics to maximize ROI.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Some years of experience in medical device marketing, with expertise in CSSD reprocessing or sterile processing.
  • Proven track record in developing training materials and delivering technical presentations.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and translate insights into strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience in KOL engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) for seamless communication with global teams and local stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Marcom tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CMS) and data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI).
