Position Summary

 

The Solutions Consultant works with project stakeholders and product owners to capture, design and document requirements for internal and external Synergy Health products and Services.

 

The Solutions Consultant will actively engage with technical architects, developers and quality assurance in order to translate new requirements and product enhancements into working product features.

Duties
  1. Provides sterile processing and healthcare related consulting services to Customers.  This includes, but is not limited to, performing operational and strategic assessments; workflow assessments; facility layout and design; Customer management assessments; training programs; process improvement; and developing tools to assist Customers in improving operational performance.
    • Work with customers to understand their business processes and inventory to prepare for the successful implementation of SynergyTrak
  2. Provides Internal Operations Team or Customer with comprehensive, professional quality, consulting reports and able to present and articulate findings and recommended course of action. 
  3. Consult on best practice application configuration and mapping of customer operational processes to SynergyTrak workflow
  4. Provides assistance to internal STERIS sales and operation teams by providing consulting services as needed to assist in securing business opportunities.
    • Wrk with implementation and support teams on creation and maintenance of customer specific training materials and work closely with super users across the business to maximise and promote effective user adoption
  5. Provides expert training and mentoring of other STERIS employees on SynergyTrak and IT solutions in the OR/SPD enrironment.
  6. Provide site walk-through assessments in support of STERIS IMS operations.
  7. Consult with customers on implementation of new software versions and upgrades, requiring site visits to hospitals and training of staff and customers
  8. Provides management with all requested and required information including preparation of reports, expense budgets, forecasts, projects, and any supporting justification.
  9. Manage the technical configuration of SynergyTrak including areas such as instrument setup, workflow management, security and permission sets, printer management and reporting

Education Degree
High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ of relevant work experience or HIgh School Diploma with 10 years' relevant work experience required.
  2. Experience in a customer facing role supporting software delivery and associated consultancy services
  3. Proactively drive positive customer engagements delivering value enhancing software to existing customer facilities
  4. Advising on best layout and efficient operating models for new customer facilities
  5. Able to work proactively and plan, organise and manage own workload
  6. Project and influencing skills in addition to personal drive and results orientation
  7. Strong communication skills and able to deal professionally with people at all levels
