STERIS Taiwan is looking to add some sparks! As our business grows, we are looking to further strengthen our business by hiring a Field Service Manager to be responsible for delivering technical support, maintenance, and repair services for capital equipment in hospitals, both directly and through distributor partners.

 

You will be diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, installing and configuring new systems, and offering continuous training and support to distributors and medical staff. You come with excellent knowledge of capital equipment and systems and be able to quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise. You are equipped with strong customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with commercial teams, distributors, and medical personnel.

What You Will Do

 

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, install new systems, and provide preventive maintenance services.
  • Provide technical support to customers, answer customer inquiries, and educate customers on proper use and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Under supervision, evaluate basic, customer biomedical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs, and as assigned, perform PM and safety/environmental inspections.
  • Work in close collaboration with experienced engineers from distributors on basic troubleshooting and service repair needs on designated equipment. 
  • Dedicate ample time in the field to support channel partners in their technical and service endeavors, fostering strong relationships and deepening understanding of customer needs.
  • Provide comprehensive service training to service engineers from our distributor partners.
  • Maintain communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to strong customer relations and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Offer in-depth in-service and maintenance training sessions for our customers.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams to identify and seize potential opportunities for capital purchases.
  • Collaboratively design capital equipment floor plans with customers for a new business project.
  • Collect capital install base, competitor information and market trends.
  • Build and maintain long term partnerships with distributors and customers via truthfulness, integrity, and delivering on commitments.
  • Maintains the skills and knowledge to service the entire product line to customers. 

Your Expertise

 

  • Adequate years of experience servicing healthcare capital equipment in hospitals.
  • Some years of expertise in maintaining capital equipment, with a focus on steam sterilizers, within the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) will be preferred.
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with others to accomplish goals.
  • Enhanced English proficiency to comprehend operation and service manuals, as well as to communicate effectively with others.
  • Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills and ability.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, highly self-driven, able to work independently and willing to learn.
  • Able to travel overseas for training.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with commercial teams and various channel partners to deliver exceptional service to customers while also identifying and capitalizing on potential business opportunities.
