Position Summary

The Supervisor, Onsite Support is responsible for the development and performance of on-site analysis and solution delivery activities to customer facilities with a focus on efforts to reduce the need/number of Device and Instrument repairs. This individual administers, coordinates, and controls the day to day activities for a team of Customer Repair Support Specialists within an assigned region.

Duties

  1. Manages the development and performance of on-site analysis and solution delivery activities to assigned facilities with a focus on efforts to provide cost savings to the hospital by ensuring all surgical tools are functioning properly for their intended purpose.
  2. Identifies areas for training and process improvement, project and workload management as well as any additional areas identified by Management to Customer Repair Support within an assigned region
  3. Participates in the interviewing and hiring of new employees
  4. Plans, assigns, and directs work of current employees and participates in the appraising of employee performance
  5. Works closely with Area Vice Presidents and Regional Sales Managers to ensure Customer Repair Support Specialist are meeting customer and STERIS IMS management expectations
  6. Maintains compliance with established policies and procedures of the Department of Health, JCAHO, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, AORN standards, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Instructions for Use (IFUs).
  7. Complies with STERIS IMS policies and procedures while also adhering to policies and procedures of the facility
     

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • Associates degree required with 9-10 years’ experience required or;
  • High school diploma and Sterile Processing Certifications (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) with 14 years’ experience
  • 1-2 years clinical experience required

Skills

1.    Must be able to problem-solve complex issues.
2.    Influence multiple layers of customer management to ensure new processes are implemented correctly.

 

 Pay range for this opportunity is $67,750.00 - $94,762.50.

 

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.  Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
