About Us
At STERIS AST we are the trusted experts in technology-neutral sterilization services including radiation and gas modalities. 
We offer electron beam, gamma, X-ray, ethylene oxide and vaporized hydrogen peroxide technologies for the purpose of product sterilization. Whether that product be a single use medical device, consumables in a hospital environment, cosmetics and toiletries, or industrial products, we make sure everything that makes its way to an end user is safe for use or consumption.  

Working Pattern

Full-time, 40 hrs per week on Monday-Tuesday at 8:15-16:30, Wednesday-Thursday at 8:30-16:30, and Friday at 8:30-16:30. Full-time, 40 hrs per week on Monday-Tuesday at 8:15-16:30, Wednesday-Thursday at 8:30-16:30, and Friday at 8:30-16:30. 

What is involved?

  • Preparing and updating laboratory documentation, including copying, pasting, and adapting information from existing sources.
  • Receiving and unpacking deliveries of laboratory supplies and samples.
  • Booking and managing laboratory samples for testing.
  • Procuring and managing laboratory stock, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
  • Handling all customer communications, both via telephone and email.
  • Scheduling testing slots and coordinating laboratory resources.
  • Arranging shipments using courier services (e.g., FedEx/CSM), including track and trace.
  • Adhering to established laboratory processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, essential for effective customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience in a customer service role. 
     

Desirables

  • Experience using track and trace systems for shipping.
  • Prior experience working in a laboratory environment.
  • Experience in stock management.
