LIMS Pricing and Contracts Administrator

This is Part-time role 

 

The LIMS Pricing and Contracts Administrator role sits within our Lab Sales Function. The department sits within Applied Sterilization Technologies (AST), and works within Europe the Middle East, Asia and Africa (EMEAA) and is responsible for;

 

LIMS Set ups

 

The role is responsible for ensuring that new Lab accounts are set up correctly on LIMS and linked to Oracle to ensure invoicing. The role also is responsible for setting up and checking pricing for new work.

 

Pricing and Contracts

The role works closely with the Labs commercial team and the AST Pricing and Contracts Administrator to ensure that LIMS is  populated with relevant Customer data and commercial terms for the Labs once a contract is signed for the Labs. They are responsible for implementing contractually agreed pricing into our LIMS pricing system and to work with the commercial Manager to ensure that pricing is correctly set up.

 

Pricing issues and queries

To work with the local operations teams and LIMS to ensure that pricing queries are resolved and corrected if they are found in the system. This may include prices being set up incorrectly by labs or the interfaces not functioning correctly between LIMS and Oracle.

 

General Commercial Support

Working with the Labs Commercial Manager or Labs sales team to generate data or information to assist in lead generation and pricing comparisions.

 

General LIMS support

As a LIMS super user the role may be required to support specific set up or development projects to improve use of LIMS within the business.

 

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, accountable and are proficient multitaskers. As we work across a large region, you need to be able to adapt to working with a range of teams, and on a range of projects in a timely manner, and be able to organize your time appropriately. Whilst the role largely involves working with internal Customers – our Lab sales and Ops organization, there may be occasion where you work with Customers directly, so clear effective communication is key.

 

Critically, this role requires a thorough, process driven individual who has a critical eye for detail to help drive the sales and operations function. The successful candidate will be solely responsible for pricing amendment and contracts within our region.

 

DUTIES

 

  1. (Reviews) new Customer and price requests from Commercial and Operating sites within LIMS, and where appropriate authorises or rejects them.

 

  1. (Creates) accurate contract profiles within LIMS, and where needed creates IT service desk tickets to get these created with links to Oracle.

 

  1. (Administers) the LIMS Annual Price Increase for all Customers within the region who require a price increase.

 

  1. (Administers) monthly contracted price increases in LIMS for all contracted Customers.

 

  1. (Provides) administrative support to LAB Commercial team & where appropriate liaison with internal & external legal Counsel (where appropriate) to resolve Customer pricing issues.

 

  1. (Manages) and owns the LIMS set up process from start to finish – keeping tabs on where each contract is in the process.

 

  1. (Completes) rigorous reviews of Contract documents to ensure the appropriate information is input into the documents, and that it is clear up front about the ‘rules of engagement’ between STERIS and the Customer.

 

  1. (Supports) the Contracts and Pricing administrator with pending and live LABS Contracts Databases for EMEA region

 

  1. (Investigates) pricing queries arising from LIMS, creating an investigation summary relating to any possible invoice discrepancies. 

 

  1. (Administers) and provides information to directors for the annual budget process.

 

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

High School Diploma or GED

 

  1. Ability to effectively read, write and verbally communicate in English.
  2. Effective use of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
  3. Able to complete basic statistical and data analysis using statistical tools such as MS Excel.
  4. Ability to work independently in a proactive and anticipatory manner under general guidelines and supervision
  5. Demonstrates a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
  6. Operates independently using mature judgment in planning and achieving defined objectives
  7. Strong sense of urgency and tenacity with project completion as well as strong organizational skills
  8. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment
  9. Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities.
