Position Summary

At STERIS, the Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the proper storage and accuracy of spare parts, supplies, equipment, miscellaneous new products and accessories to support predefined inventory levels. You will also be responsible to receive spare parts, supplies, equipment, and miscellaneous new products and accessories.  The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for filling orders and other demand requirements for the same items.  This is a great opportunity for someone that likes working as part of a well-engaged team and helping support customer's needs. the ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle and have to ability to lift up to 40 pounds. 

What You Will Do

•    Processes inventory and supplies to fill request and orders.
•    Completes periodic inventories to maintain available stock levels.
•    Perform Receiving and Inspection.
•    Conducts cycle counts as required.
•    Adheres to procedures of inventory control, including lot distributions and sealed bags.
•    Assists in breaking down, repackaging, and labeling Parts received as required.
•    Aware of and conforms to Company ISO goals and objectives and supports ISO requirements.
•    Monitoring and correcting of the actual on hand quantity of parts versus the system.
•    Entering requisitions for purchasing supplies and inventory part replenishment  
•    Other duties as assigned by management
 

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

What Will Help You Be Successful

  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years’ work experience, at least one (1) year of which is specifically in Inventory Control.  
  • Proficiency using MS Office including MS Teams. Experience working with Oracle is a plus.
  • Willing to work overtime and hours outside normal business hours as needed, based on Customer needs.
  • Has demonstrated Customer Service experience.  
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to problem solve within area of responsibility.
  • Displays positive attitude and confidence.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter in a field-based environment.
  • Willingness to listen and learn, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds and sit and stand for an extended period.
