Position Summary
As an ESG Manager, Sustainable Supply Chain you will project manage cross-functional teams and vendors to establish governance, controls, and key performance indicators related to supply chain transparency. In this role you will strategically own multi-year roadmap for compliance with global, emerging regulations. To support regulatory compliance, you will work closely with business functions to gather, manage, and maintain data related to sustainable supply chain requirements.
This is a hybrid role with the requirement of working onsite at our St Louis, MO location, 2 days per week.
What You'll do as ad ESG Manager, Sustainable Supply Chain
- Oversee emerging supply chain transparency regulations and applicability globally. Examples include:
- European Union Deforestation Regulation
- Plastic Taxes
- Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive
- End Producer Responsibility
- Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
- Establish governance, internal controls, and documentation for assurance-ready reporting and audit-trail integrity.
- Direct Supplier ESG program and integrates with sourcing.
- Manage project teams and vendors to ensure compliance readiness.
- Communicate project value and data needs through template creation for supplier outreach.
- Lead cross-functional teams and vendors, influences without direct authority.
Required Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated delivery of emerging ESG regulatory requirements and supplier engagement programs
Preferred:
- Master's Degree
- Training or experience in internal controls and/or assurance is preferred.
Other:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex regulatory and technical concepts.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional, deadline‑driven projects.
- Team‑oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and adaptable in a dynamic regulatory environment.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience managing compliance initiatives with fixed regulatory deadlines.
- Vendor and third‑party management experience, including support of supplier ESG programs.
- Excellent presentation skills, including public speaking and the ability to tailor content for diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience supporting change management activities related to program implementation, maintenance, and ongoing regulatory compliance.

Pay range for this opportunity is $93,000.00 - $103,000.00. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
