Position Summary

Cantel is a highly dynamic, global Medical company that manufacturers, develops and supplies innovative medical products to hospitals across the UK, together with a core group of international distributors.

This challenging role is office based, working in a small but busy team.  

The Commercial Analyst – EMEA will be responsible for supporting all countries within the region with various sales-related tasks and data analysis.  This role is challenging but rewarding and will involve managing multiple projects and developing new processes within other countries, working from our UK head office

Duties

  1.     Develop and maintain key sales data and reporting for each country by understanding each ERP system, data cleansing requirements and the local business intelligence.  Data will include sales/targets, products and customers.
  2.      Implement data reporting requirements for each country and maintain/distribute reports on a regular basis as required.  This includes performance of account managers/territories and also collation of regular reports which will be shared with senior management.
  3.      Work with the local sales teams to implement sales initiatives including introductory offers, commitment deals and finance packages.  
  4.     Ensure that a process is developed for each country to monitor the introduction and outcomes of each sales program and that this data is available to the local organisation.
  5.      Work with the local country managers to develop and implement a business planning process for each country.  Ensure business planning data is collated and presented in an accessible way, and that business plans are completed in a timely manner as required.
  6.      Develop and implement processes to control and manage pricing for each of Cantel’s products in each country.  This includes processes to control discount approval, pricing structures and bundle deals.
  7.      Review and monitor performance against Cantel’s regional Commercial guidelines and support initiatives in order to meet the requirements in each country.
  8.      Support direct requests for data from local country managers and sales teams, and respond to such requests in a timely manner.
     

Required Experience

  1.       Minimum GSCE standard and above – must include Mathematics and English Language
  2.      Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  3.      Experience of BI tools and data analytics would be an advantage
  4.      Good working knowledge of Word and Excel and IT literate
  5.      Demonstrate excellent organizational and administrative skills
  6.      Process creation/management experience
  7.      Ability to interpret large volumes of information and create meaningful analytical tools/presentations
  8.      Experience working with and training/presenting to internal stakeholders
  9.      Strong interpersonal skills with an appreciation for cultural/geographical differences
  10.      Ability to be focused and prioritise workload 
  11.      Committed and motivated to develop new processes from scratch and implement/train new teams
  12.      Ability to confidently interact with stakeholders at all levels within the business
