Job Title: Production Co-ordinator

The Production Coordinator will manage the re-processing production of the site and to be responsible for all production and logistics staff within the team on a shift basis.
You will contribute to the management of a busy Sterile Services Unit, managing the workflow and the team of sterile services personnel on a day to day basis.
This role will provide leadership through personal example, promoting sound departmental communication and fostering good interpersonal relationships.
As Production Coordinator you will promote continuous improvement within the department, to drive staff performance against unit and organisational targets and have a flexible approach with a can do attitude.
- To manage the drivers (rotas, performance reviews, disciplinary, …)
- To manage the fleet (Maintenance, servicing, routes, mileage,..)
- To support during weekends the re-processing production of the site and to be responsible for all production and logistics staff within the team on a shift basis.
- To contribute to the management of a busy Sterile Services Unit, managing the workflow and the team of sterile services personnel on a day to day basis.
- To provide leadership through personal example, promoting sound departmental communication and fostering good interpersonal relationships.
- To promote continuous improvement within the department.
- To drive staff performance against unit and organisational targets.

Educated to A Level standard
Demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development and training
NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience.
Previous Production/Supervisory Experience
Experience of managing and supervising staff.
Workflow management experience
Ability to learn and understand the instruments and trays.
Ability to plan and prioritise work using the internal Information Management System
Ability to analyse and interpret data.
Ability to solve complex problems in a pressurised environment.
Advanced end user IT skills in order to operate the track and traceability (SynergyTrak) IT system.
