Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Sewing Machine Operator to join our team, at our facility in Sharon Hill, PA. In this role, you will conduct sewing and folding in the main sewing/folding area of the facility. You will perform sewing, assembly, and folding into finished form, in preparation for futher processing using the Work Order. You will also perform quality inspections to complete needed work.

What You Will Do:
  • Complete sewing based on production schedule, and oversee product flow through to end use application.
  • Process sterile and non-sterile sewn product orders based on production schedule.
  • Adhere to quality system procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Participate in weekly SQDC meetings, and strive for improvements in each area.
  • Conduct individual inspection and maintaintance of work station; escalate any identified issues to management.
  • Maintain safety culture, ensure proper use and condition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), machines, and safe guards.
  • Learn and practice the basic lean principles and tools.
What You Need to be Successful:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of production or manufacturing experience, to include industrial sewing required.
  • Must be able to perform overlock sewing with elastic.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, under general guidelines and supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing duties and responsibilities as needed.
