Position Summary
As a Senior Product Manager specializing in Sterility Maintenance Products, you will lead global marketing strategies, define product roadmaps, and manage the full product lifecycle—from concept through post-commercialization. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution and leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure market needs are met and profitable growth is achieved across designated product portfolios that serve the needs of the biopharmaceutical and allied markets.
This is a hybrid position located in our Sharon Hill, PA location. Additionally, to support the client base you will travel domestically and internationally (20–25%).
What You'll Do as a Senior Product Manager

Develop global marketing strategies aligned with business segment objectives to achieve revenue, margin, and market share goals.

Create detailed product roadmaps and marketing plans, assessing sustainability and competitive positioning.

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and pricing assessments to inform strategic decisions.

Utilize competitive intelligence to anticipate market trends and deploy strategies that outmaneuver competition.

Partner with sales leadership to drive product adoption and utilization through tools, programs, and value-based selling approaches.

Develop compelling sales collateral, training materials, and promotional content, present at training courses and conferences.

Actively engage in national/regional meetings and industry events to represent STERIS and support commercial initiatives.

Communicate product updates, pricing changes, and competitive insights to global sales teams.

Lead all phases of the NPD process, including voice-of-customer (VOC) research, business case development, and stage-gate participation.

Identify product gaps and generate innovative ideas to expand market share and improve customer experience.

Drive planning for new launches and enhancements, including forecasting, pricing guidelines, and training.

Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and Marketing Communications to ensure successful commercialization.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Manage and mentor a team of product and marketing professionals, fostering collaboration and accountability.

Champion product vision and strategy internally and externally, building excitement and alignment.

Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Key Accounts (KAs), and industry stakeholders to support growth initiatives.
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required (Technical discipline strongly preferred).

Experience: 10+ years of relevant business experience of which 7 years should be in Product Management/Marketing.

Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring junior product managers.

Skills: Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project management capabilities.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally (20–25%).
Preferred Experience
-
Marketing focused MBA is preferred.
- Experience with sterile products is strongly preferred.

Experience in pharmaceutical, medical devices, or regulated industries.

Demonstrated success in executing strategic plans and achieving revenue goals.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Pay range for this opportunity is $131,900 - $170,775. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
