Duties

Employees will operate various packing stations according to quality and safety standards
and production needs. Duties include the following:

  • Ensuring cups, pouches, packages are properly filled with materialS
  • Sealing cups, pouches and/or boxes
  • Ensure proper weights per specifications
  • Placing product in packaging
  • Labeling boxes
  • Visually inspecting product including lids, seals, lot codes, expiration dates etc. and finished product
  • Maintaining information to track lot numbers rejected parts and machine setting information

  1. Ensure safe operation at all times by wearing proper PPE, reporting or correcting safety concerns, and recommending changes or improvements.
  2. Identifies need for on equipment maintenance, and completes work request for the maintenance department.
  3. Reject non-conforming material using proper procedures.
  4. Pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.
  5. Pays attention to processes or steps leading to the accomplishment  of results, and looks for ways to  improve quality, safety, efficiency and/or effectiveness.
  6. Effectively copes with change, and changing priorities, staying focused on achieving key  priorities related to safety, quality and delivery/customer needs.
  7. Promotes cooperation and commitment within a team environment to achieve individual and team  goals and overall deliverables.

Education Degree

    Required Experience

    6-mos-1yr. experience working in a assembly, packaging, chemical environment, manufacturing or relevant fast paced environment.

    Preferred Experience

    1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    2. Material handling expierence (i.e. Forklift/pallet lift, etc.).
