The Difference You Will Make

STERIS Korea is looking hire a fixed-term 6 months contract Customer Service Representative in South Korea, to join our Instrument Management Service (IMS) team. Reporting to the IMS Service Lead in South Korea, you will manage the back office for IMS Korea repair lab and provide service administrative support to the IMS team to increase the competitive advantage of STERIS business and the customer satisfaction in the market. 

What You Will Do

  • Maintain customer database inc. repair Warranty management & any Loan scopes.
  • Prepare and issue Repair quotations.
  • Service contract administration – elaborate, bill and administrate the service contracts and revenue.
    • Service order entry and management (parts, labor & contracts)
    • Review Customer Purchase order and work with Service Manager to resolve any discrepancies.
    • Assigning and maintain appropriate inventory, cycle count. 
    • Establishing invoice schedules and processes credits to agreements and service requests
    • Service record of repairs. Maintain vital documentation and keep data updated according to local SOPs.
    • Local licenses to operate are kept.
    • Bookkeeping & tracking of repairs.
  • Coordinate pick-up and packing, return of repaired scopes to the customer.
  • Receive and process all requests for repair invoicing, per credit/rebill process to ensure district revenue is accrued in the proper invoice period. 
    • Assist the collections department with research and customer follow up to resolve outstanding repair invoicing issues.
    • Correct errors and educate field on how to avoid errors in the future.
    • Assign technicians to repair requests as required and actively review and release items from the service backlog.
  • Manage the spare inventory store and to continuously develop new ways to improve: 
    • Repair parts inventory maintenance - physical and in system.
    • Repair parts inventory purchasing - Internal and external.
    • Purchasing of non-inventory repair parts 
    • Work with IMS US/UK team on parts forecasting.
    • Maintenance of company tooling, equipment, and parts inventory in orderly manner.
    • Receipt and inspection of incoming service parts.
  • Handling incoming repair calls and emails.
  • Complaint handling: Perform daily administrative function such as recording of repair problem or updating of service record in CRM system.

What You Will Bring

  • Relevant working experience
  • Possess a Higher Diploma or above. 
  • Candidate with prior experience in Business, Accounting or Office Admin skills will be preferred.
  • Proficient in MS office and ideally Oracle system with the ability to learn proprietary software applications at ease.
  • Possess excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Independent, meticulous & organized.
  • Possess a strong sense of initiative, responsibility & positive work attitude.
  • Team player mentality
  • Bilingual in Korean and English
