Accountant

Summary

Reporting to the Financial Controller, Singapore and ROA, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance activities within the General Accounting team. You will manage Accounts Receivable and ensure revenue recognition aligns with local FRS, oversee Accounts Payable and expense approvals, and coordinate tax matters with our third‑party provider—including quarterly VAT submissions, annual filings, and tax queries. You will support key accounting processes such as Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss analysis, cashflow oversight, journal entries, reconciliations, and sub‑ledger maintenance. You will also play an active role in strengthening internal controls, improving process efficiency, and supporting special projects assigned by the Department Manager.

What You Will Do

• Profit and loss account and Balance Sheet analysis
• Journal entry creation and input through management of schedules and statements
• Communication and interaction with other business departments and foreign entities
• Serve as an integral part of the monthly close process; complete balance sheet reconciliations via Blackline system
• Analyze data to identify inaccuracies and drive corrections to processes as needed
• Assist in gathering information for audits & tax
• Foreign account analysis, templates, and communication
• Assist with acquisitions and mergers with financial account analysis and input entries
• Assist with financial reporting requirements including footnotes.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Several years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, with strong grounding in accounting principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting ERP systems and month-end closing processes
• Familiarity with operational finance frameworks
• Ability to communicate effectively in Korean and basic English
• Strong computer proficiency, especially in Excel; Microsoft Dynamics experience is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective time management
