Duties

1. Must possess all knowledge, qualifications and ability specified for the Forklift Operator position.
 
2. Must be capable of properly operating standard highway trucks on company property, public streets and/or highways. Must hold a current and valid Missouri CDL license or equivalent.
 
3. Is responsible for daily care of equipment in his/her charge such as cleaning the equipment, checking oil, water and battery, as well as entering this information onto log sheet.  He/she is responsible for adding these items as needed.
 
4. Must exercise caution in order not to damage material or property while operating equipment and must at all times exercise caution for the safety of other Employees and the general public.
 
5. Must maintain written and/or electronic records as required by management.
 
6. Is responsible for keeping equipment and surrounding work area clean at all times.
 
7. Is responsible for moving and loading hazardous wastes, as directed by supervisor.
 
8. Under the direction and monitoring of department supervisor, is responsible for the training of a replacement Truck Driver.

9. Must be capable of and is responsible for physically loading and unloading materials on company operated trucks. His/her responsibilities include proper material handling either on company, customer, or supplier property.
 
10. Performs other duties as directed by Lead or supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent.
 
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, safety warning labels, and machine instruction manuals. Basic math, writing and data entry skills.
 
Current and valid Missouri CDL license or equivalent.

Required Experience

(Skills/Abilities/Special Qualifications)
 
May be expected to move, carry, and lift approximately 60 pounds. May be expected to climb heights of approximately10 feet. Sit for long periods of time.
 
Ability to read scales. Manual dexterity and good peripheral vision required.  Able to wear personal protective equipment, as required.
 
Must hold a valid Missouri CDL license or equivalent. 
 
Good hand/eye coordination.
 
Equipment listed below (Specific Job Requirements) may be used, as needed, to assist in these Required Competencies.

Specific Job Requirements

Diesel Trucks, perform basic vehicle maintenance.
 
Motor driven fork trucks; perform basic vehicle maintenance and other material handling equipment, such as primemover.

Compensation Data

$22.45 per hour
