Position Summary

Provides technical operational support for Customers, Marketing, Technical Services and Sales on issues related to product information, product technology and product applications for the CCS group within the Life Sciences Contamination Control Solutions (CCS) business.  Serves as a generalist for CCS product information including answering calls and providing information to Customers and the Commercial team following appropriate departmental standards required to ensure protection of Intellectual Property (IP)  and accuracy and appropriateness of information.  Coordinates review, modification, and execution of Customer Disclosure Agreements (CDA) and distribution of IP under appropriate CDA.  Coordinates internal biennial literature review to ensure current and accurate information is being provided to our Customers.

Duties

  • Provides appropriate, prompt, technical information to Customers for the CCS product lines, with the objective of utilizing existing, vetted material to resolve standard pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry Customer questions.  Support provided through telephone and written correspondence, requiring understanding of nature of inquiry (IP vs. non-IP) and standard or non-standard informaiton. 
  • Increases effectiveness of the Technical Services Field Support teams by handling routine Customer support needs by request of the TSM and Sr. TSM.
  • Manages the CDA processing activities including correspondences with STERIS Legal, Customer contact, Sales contact, and Director TS and VP Marketing to ensure that correspondences are well-documented, timely and input into searchable database on a routine basis to ensure ready-access for release of information to Customer. 
  • Supports compliance with STERIS records retention policy by monitoring and purging records per policy.

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science

Required Experience

Experience and Skills:

  • More than five years related work experience and a Bachelor's Degree in preferably a science or technical related field. 
  • Current knowledge of relevant pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry subject matter and regulatory requirements. Ability to learn in collaboration with technical experts internal to STERIS as well as outside the organization.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including with MS systems in particular, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Customer and service orientation with ability to effectively utilize resources for technical information as needed.
