WORKING HOURS

 

  • Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

WHAT IS INVOLVED

 

Responsible for providing a high-quality service for the cleaning, inspection, assembly and packing of sterile equipment for hospital and community settings.

 

This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, where quality and precision is vital. Full training and support is provided in a programme to help staff reach their full potential, learning a wide range of hospital instruments while being responsible for different functional areas of the sterilisation process.

DUTIES

 

  • Responsible for quality and delivery of decontaminated products to the customers in accordance with our service level agreements.
  • To effectively organise all production to the agreed specification to meet customer requirements.
  • To monitor and ensure that all product despatched conform to accepted Company Quality guidelines and procedures, engendering and promoting a quality centred Organisational culture.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN methodology and Continuous Improvement mind-set.
  • Lead all staff putting forward suggestions for continuous improvement, innovation and corrective actions as appropriate and ensuring the implementation of all feasible suggestions.
  • Strong people management skills, coach, support and guide all staff in accordance with the principles of Synergy Health Performance Management policies and procedures, ensuring the successful operation of the system throughout the site, and to act as an induction mentor as required.
  • To actively monitor absence levels of staff maintaining and analysing data as appropriate, communicating with Team leaders and members of staff, interviewing staff as required and referring employees to the Company Occupational Health provider as required.
  • To assume responsibility for all Health and Safety Policy issues in production, ensuring that all activities comply with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines, as well as to ensure that all designated staff are informed and trained appropriately.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

 

  • Experience leading teams (including support functions).
  • Comfortable with IT tools and systems.
  • Can adapt to changing schedules and is flexible.
  • Has previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong communication skills and target driven.
  • Pays close attention to detail.
  • Understands regulations and policies.
  • Prioritises health and safety.
