PC Inspector

Position Summary

Synergy Sterilisation Rawang (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Process Control Inspector to join our team in Rawang, Selangor. This full-time position is crucial in ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our sterilisation processes. As the Process Control Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and validating our critical processes to maintain the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Duties

. Product Inspection:

• To perform pre and post sterilization inspection of each delivery as per Customer-specific procedure and/or in-house procedure to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

• Hold (ODMS) and label (physical) and submitted to PC Leader and above for release ODMS and remove label (ODMS)

2. Product Handling and Traceability

• Ensure proper handling, storage, identification, and traceability of customer products.

• Perform sample processing activities in accordance with STERIS procedures.

3. Quality Monitoring and Documentation

• Track damaged carton PPM and quality issues, update SQDC metrics, and ensure accurate quality tracking.

• Assist the Process Control Leader or Supervisor in investigating and analyzing damaged cartons or other product issues.

4. Equipment Verification and Dosimeter Reading

• Perform weekly verification of stopwatch used in Gamma and submit to QA for approval.

• Conduct accurate and timely dosimeter measurements as per company standards.

5. Non-Conformance Management

• Adhere to non-conformance procedures and promptly report any detected non-conformances from incoming to outgoing shipments to the supervisor.

6. Training and Compliance

• Actively participate in training programs provided by the company.

• Comply with good manufacturing practices, good documentation practices, and requirements for documentation and records control.

• Carry out 5S housekeeping duties

• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure working environment by following all procedures, rules, and regulations.

7. Mission and Policy Alignment

• Ensure alignment with the company's mission, vision, and values.

• Contribute to team efforts by adhering to the STERIS Code of Business Conduct, OTOG, 5S Lean principles, safety protocols, and organizational directives.

• Comply with the company's quality policy, rules, procedures, and guidelines.

• Support decisions and initiatives from higher-level management

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in quality and performance improvement projects within the facility and organization.

8. Other Responsibilities:

• Undertake additional tasks and duties that support company and departmental goals as assigned.

Required Experience

What we're looking for

1. Minimum Diploma holders with 2 years of experience in a process control or quality assurance role, preferably in the healthcare or medical device manufacturing industry

2. Strong technical understanding of sterilization processes, equipment, and quality control principles

3. Proficient in data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking to identify and resolve process control issues

4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation

5. Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, including production personnel and quality assurance teams

6. SPM / Certificate holders are welcomed to apply with job experience at least 5 years
