Job Title:  Service Engineer

Position Summary

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team Steris. This position is home based and the future employee will work assisting the customers all over Calabria Region. He/she will performs required preventive and corrective maintenance on the STERIS product lines and field troubleshooting primarily in his/her service area (Calabria) in the country.

Duties

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance required on STERIS product lines, related product lines, and competitive equipment.  This includes: disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; rewiring or reassembling as required; troubleshooting, adjusting/calibrating, and certifying equipment ready for use by using standard and specialized tools and test equipment.
• Perform administrative duties as assigned including computer synchronization daily, complete service reports, maintaining tools and parts inventory to prescribed levels as required by Team Leaders and Service Manager.
• Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales organization.
• Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all STERIS and Customer Health & Safety protocols and procedures. 
• Provide solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field through effective positioning of STERIS products and services, identifying opportunities, and passing leads to management and sales.      

Education Degree

Experience and competencies

• Minimum of 2 years industry related experience and a general knowledge of operating washing and sterilize processing units.
• Experience in resolving technical/mechanical/electrical issues
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance 
• Experience in repairing defective parts, reassembling, adjusting and calibrating 
• Manual ability on tools equipment
• Able in testing the product functionality

Mandatory

Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory. The role will be responsible for responding to customer needs throughout the Calabria region.

He/she will use a service car.
