Position Summary
We are looking for an Assembler to join our Operations team in Pomezia (Rome).
Under general supervision he/she will assembles various electronic, plastic and metal components using various hand and automated equipment; pick raw materials and packages finished goods.
Other duties are performed as defined by supervisor.
Duties
• Perform visual sorting or inspection of Incoming raw materials and or production assemblies as directed, to meet quality standards
• Position parts according to prints, assembly procedures or verbal instructions.
• Identify and transport raw material from warehouse location, when necessary.
• Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets or other fastening devices.
• Performs hand soldering, wire cutting, stripping and pinning of cables, quality assurance testing on certain sub-assemblies and packaging of finished products.
•Use hand drills, tools, automated tapers, crimper, soldering iron
•Able to use ERP system and perform physical Inventory
•Able to perform picking of materials and packaging of finished goods
• Able to perform other tasks are required by supervisor
Education Degree
Required Experience
- 6 to 12 months related assembly experience desired.
- Must have general knowledge of basic assembly tools and their intended use.
- Nice to have forklift License
Core competencies and skills
• Must be able to push, pull or carry products weighing 25 to 40 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to work in a sitting or standing position and be able to twist or turn the body continuously throughout the day.
• Job requires repetitive movement of both hands continuously, six to eight hours daily.
• Assembly of components requires good vision as well as color distinction.
