Position Summary

2nd Shift Schedule:  10 Hour rotation Shift: 3PM-1AM  plus overtime as needed.

This position is responsible for the manufacturing of innovative infection prevention products in a production or clean room environment following all applicable policies, processes and procedures.

Work performed in the warehouse, dispensing line, dry room and/or packaging area. Under general supervision, working on our powder, concentrate, or sterilant production areas and/or any solutions production area.  Operate on other production assembly lines as requested by the Supervisor and perform clean-up and maintenance of machines to assure quality of products.


  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities, completes continuous improvement cards and owns/supports implementing the identified improvements
  • Trained to intermediate and some more critical/advanced processes.
  • Able to recognize problems or quality concerns and understands the impact to product quality.  Has the ability to work with engineering to find solutions to problems that occur in the manufacturing process.
  • Has a basic awareness and very limited use of the electronic systems used in operations.
  • Cross-trained across multiple work cells/lines, takes advantage of opportunities to broaden their cross-training and quickly learns new processes.
  • Willing and able to train others on basic and intermediate level processes.
  • Has a solid understanding of the product flow from the start to finish of a work cell/line.
  • Able to effectively communicate across department, including the extended team.

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+years of work experience in an operations environment
  • Must be able to read, understand, and carry out written and verbal instructions on performing  the job as well as safety procedures.
  • Willingly and proactively collaborates with others to achieve operational goals.
  • Fully aware of the quality of own work and that of others around you
  • Works with energy, passion, and drives towards goals with professionalism and respect; operates in a way that creates an atmosphere of achievement.
  • Adheres to all company and departmental safety policies and guidelines
  • Performs daily job duties in a safe manner and keeps their work area clean and organized at all times
  • Capable of following detailed assembly instructions, both written and verbal.  Complies with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
  • Performs any additional duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead.
  • Consistent ability to meet production goals for assigned processes while maintaining quality standards for the product.
  • Employee workmanship and documentation standards regularly meet all of our quality standards and GMP practices
  • Works well with others in the value stream and offers support when help is needed in a different area.
  • Consistently adheres to attendance and punctuality guidelines

Working condition

  • Up to 100% sitting, standing and walking in an 8-hour workday, more if working overtime
  • Ability to continuously wear personal protective equipment and/or clean room attire
  • Ability to work overtime as required
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to operate power tools/equipment and hand tools
  • Ability to work with or around chemicals
  • Ability to use a microscope
  • Safety Sensitive Position
