Position Summary

Our dental segment, HuFriedyGroup, enables dental professionals to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, drive compliance, and enhance patient and staff safety.  At HuFriedyGroup, we are committed to helping dental professionals perfect their craft and deliver the highest level of care to each patient.  This position at HuFriedyGroup coordinates the overall maintenance and appearance of the facilities, including housekeeping, office equipment, service and support systems, building and grounds, and procurement of all related housekeeping and building maintenance supplies.


  • Coordinate and perform the housekeeping  functions necessary to keep all areas of the facility and the grounds clean, neat, and well organized, in order to maintain a high quality standard of appearance.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of all building service and support systems, including HVAC, plumbing,    lighting,   electrical distribution, security, and fire protection.
  • Maintain the Company system for assigning parking lot spaces and for monitoring the parking lots.
  • Control all housekeeping supplies, including paper goods, cleaning materials, light tubes, etc. by monitoring usage and maintaining inventory, ordering directly from vendors, and distributing throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate the work assignments and monitor performance of the evening contract cleaning service.
  • Monitor conditions of the building and grounds and to coordinate maintenance with the respective service providers.
  • Coordinate the completion of daily tasks with the department employee working as the Building Custodian.
  • Set up and maintain office furniture.
  • Maintain company vehicles.
  • Coordinate the Company Recycle program.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with internal customers throughout the facility.

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for maintaining  the housekeeping and appearance of the facility and grounds
  • Ability to perform and complete work assignments with minimal supervision
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with cooperative attitude, a desire to learn and expand maintenance skills, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities, when asked
  • Ability to operate basic shop power tools, floor cleaning equipment, etc.
  • Ability to become licensed to operate powered industrial trucks (fork lift, scissors lift)
  • Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, and painting maintenance
