Position Summary

The Cleanroom Sealer will process various sizes of cut Tyvek into sealed bags utilizing the sealing machine to meet the planned demands of the production schedule. The sealer will ensure the integrity of the seal meets the standard set by the standard operating procedure. The sealer will count and organize the finished goods in accordance with packaging specifications once the product is sealed. 


  • Verify that sealing equipment is operating in a manner to provide a quality seal to each bag.
  • Ensure that all products to be sealed match label specifications.
  • Operate sealing equipment to seal bags according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Deliver completed bags to folding area, ensuring the count of finished goods satisfies requirements of the Work Order Traveler.
  • Follow SOP’s to maintain integrity of clean room environment.
  • Pack finished product into final case packaging and label according to Work Order Traveler.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Company’s GMP guidelines.
  • Supports and promotes LEAN operations by following standard work, Safety Observations, Idea Generation and Hour by Hour Board updates.
  • Adhere to Shop Practices including proper gowning and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Inform manager of any problems pertaining to production, parts, equipment or processes.

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

Training will be provided for this position.  Necessary skills for success in this role include:

  • Communication:  Ability to read, understand and communicate oral and written instruction in English. 
  • Reasoning Ability: Successfully follow provided instructions.  Deal with problems involving materials and equipment variation while maintaining quality expectations.  Recognize and trouble shoot problems.
  • Teamwork: Work effectively and collaboratively with other employees.
  • Adaptability: Respond to changing duties and responsibilities as needed
