What You Will Do:
  • Report to an HR Manager and work with a close-knit HR and leadership team supporting our AST (Applied Sterilization Technologies) facility in Ontario,CA. 
  • Be a HR Partner to managers and employees at various levels in our fast-paced environment providing HR support and solutions.  You will provide dedicated support to assigned teams and collaborate cross functionally.
  • Employee Relations/Performance Management– Consult & coach managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs. Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend solutions. 
  • Support HR leadership team – HR research, project support, reporting/analytics, and champion HR initiatives.  This includes identifying opportunities and positively influencing leadership approaches.
  • Training – HR orientation, facilitation of HR training, and collaborate with our Technical Training team to create seamless onboarding and great new hire experiences.
  • Recruiting – Partner with central recruiting team to guide interview and selection process. Supporting innovative approaches to developing pipelines and promoting our employee value proposition.
     
What You Need to be Successful:
  • An ability to shine and provide HR Leadership, Support, Innovative Ideas & take care of our leaders and Employees.  Always ready to lend a helping hand or jump into a new situation and learn.
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree; additional HR certifications preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in HR required, perferably in a manufacturing/plant environment
  • Experience in the progression of general HR responsibilities and exposure to talent recruitment and acquisition practices.  
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, succession planning, talent management, training, and development
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and HR systems (HRIS, ATS) such as SuccessFactors, WorkDay, Taleo, etc.
  • Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices, and compliance issues.
  • Preferred experience in change management and/or communications a plus.
