The HR Manager will provide HR leadership to our plant operations, Engineering group, Finance, IT, Quality, Supply Chain and other business groups located at our Monterrey facility.  This role will focus on Implementing programs, providing services and providing consultation in all areas of Human Resources such as: staffing, policies and procedures, benefits, health and safety, performance management and development, rewards/compensation and employee relations.

 

Duties

  1. Provides Human Resource consultation and services that directly assists the organization in meeting its objectives and strategies.
  2. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the organization’s objectives, products, customers, and relationships.
  3. Work with operations and support managers in the following Human Resource area:
  4. Staffing, Orientation, Rewards/Compensation, and Development/Employee Relations
  5. Oversees daily operations of the Human Resource department and staff including managing 5 HR professionals
  6. Provides support to managers on ensuring compliance to regulatory, quality, health and safety requirements.
  7. Assist with promoting and maintaining a positive company image in the local community by participating in organization events including, advertising, providing donations and attending dinners and functions.
  8. Main support in all activities related to the Quality System and the regulations applicable to the site. (IS0 9001; ISO 13485; MDSAP; FDA 21 CFR Part 820, PED and ASME)  
  9. Active participant in the safety, continuous improvement and training initiatives, which include but are not limited to: A3 Certification and projects, STOP Observations, Monthly Safety Audits, SQDC board maintenance, upgrade and administration of KPI for the area, propose and execute CIP (Cost Improvement Projects), maintenance of LSW sheet, upgrade and maintenance of initiatives using Deploy system.

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Eight (8) years of Human Resources experience including 3-5 years of supervisory experience required
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and meet broad objectives. 
  • Ability to identify and facilitate complex solutions in the Human Resource area.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and obtain the cooperation of others.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws and technical knowledge of/experience in various Human Resource functions. 
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
