For employees starting in March 2021, you will receive 14.25 days of PTO for 2021. That’s 2 weeks and 4 days for vacation, sick leave or whatever you need the time off for. In addition, you receive 6 paid holidays for 2021: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday AND Friday, and Christmas Day.

On January 1, 2022, you receive a bucket of 18 PTO days (that’s 3 weeks and 3 days!), AND 7 paid holidays (all of the above PLUS New Years Day).



What you will do with us:

  • Contribute to the accurate and safe processing capability of the company by coordinating and scheduling all Customer validations; calibrat and maintain proper function of data collection devices used in validations and qualifications; investigate analyzing and reporting procedures and provide solutions to process deviations and Customer complaints.
  • Optimize processing by coordinating scheduling of Customer product; assist plant management in training operations employees in performing process procedures; assist operations as required to ensure the timely movement of product.
  • Provide Customer service by assisting in the performance and adherence to ISO 11135 and ISO 11137 requirements.
  • Strive for continuous improvement by analyzing new or alternative ways to improve operations; incorporate staff recommendations into analysis; respond to audit activities in a constructive manner and uses findings to improve operations where possible.
  • Support the STERIS AST business imperatives of Growth, Operational Excellence, Leadership Excellence and Customer Focus. 

Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in sterilization or related industry preferred or a 4 year degree.
  • Ability to effectively write and verbally communicate in English.
  • Effective interpersonal skills as demonstrated through prior experience.
  • Ability to navigate through defined computer screens.
  • Prior experience organizing and analyzing, and utilizing Level 2 math skills (four basic arithmetic functions in all units of measurement, decimals ratios, rates, percentages) to determine organizational, Customer and regulatory problems and formulate corrective action plans
  • Prior experience working in a detailed environment
  • Normal hearing range sufficient to hear alarms, bells, horns, etc
  • Ability to occassionally work outside of normal business hours and at various locations

Preferred Experience

  • Associates Degree
  • Experience in Biology, Medical Device, Pharma, SCBA, Preventive Medicine (68S & L12A (8432), Bio-Environmental Engineer (AFSC-4B0X1), NBC Specialist (54B & 5711), Lab Technician / Medical Laboratory Technician (68K & 8506), Biomedical Technology, Microbiology
