Position Summary

Responsible for increasing sales in the assigned territory including coordination and execution of clinical and service related activities while supporting the local Sales Team

Duties
  1. Uses initiative to originate, promote and close sales at all times.
  2. Assumes primary responsibility for assigned sales territory frequently as needed.
  3. Promotes supportive, quality customer relations by identifying internal customers, acknowledging customers promptly and using respectful, professional behavior.
  4. Maintains safe driving record.
  5. Delivers effective and uncompromising customer service in the territory at all times.
  6. Coordinates all daily activities with the local Sales Team to ensure customers are always served effectively.
  7. Prepares service history reports, cost savings analysis and other relative reports and reviews with peers on monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis as determined by management.
  8. Coordinates & conducts preventative maintenance services for customers with local Sales Team.
  9. Coordinates & updates process improvement programs for select customers within assigned territory.
  10. Coordinates all site visits and workshops for customer attendance and technical staff.
  11. Facilitates and maintains all territory billing functions including: billing submissions, unbilled revenue and uncollected revenue.
  12. Observes staff in "Care and Handling Procedure" and initiates recommendations to minimize frequency and severity of damaged equipment.
  13. Maintains positive impression of IMS by observing hospital vendor policies (including dress codes).
  14. Participates in OR specific training on a regular basis.

Education Degree
  • High School Diploma or GED
Required Experience
  1. High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. 1-2 years professional work experience; preferably in Customer Service or Sales,
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)
  4. Position requires working vehicle compliant with Company requirements which includes certain levels of insurance and a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  5. Must possess working Smart phone (allowance will be provided)
  6. No objection to GPS tracking (will be on phone or vehicle)
  7. Required to work non standard hours that can vary to meet Customer needs (weekends, evening)
  8. Customer focused – ability to communicate with customers, understand their needs, meet their objectives and resolve any issues or problems (conflict mgmt. skills)
  9. Ability to collaborate with colleagues to identify customer needs 
  10. Excellent attention to detail
  11. Self-motivated; ability to work with little to no supervision
  12. Adaptable – ability to be flexible in schedule and meet customer demands
  13. Able to work for long periods and in fast-paced environment
  14. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workloads
  15. Able to make decisions with little to no supervision
