Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is the heart and soul of the TA team at STERIS.  This role provides mission critical support to all aspects of our hiring process. The TA Coordinator is the chief candidate experience officer for STERIS and works to ensure hiring teams and process is delivering a positive candidate experience.  In addition, this role will support Talent Acquisition Partners with offer creation, coordination/scheduling of interviews, and invoice processing. The TA Coordinator will also step in as needed to support recruiters directly with candidate dispositioning and candidate screening.  Viable career paths for this position include advancement into a Talent Acquisition Partner, TA Operations, Campus recruitment or HR Shared Services.  

This role will interact with a variety of stakeholders and business leaders, including job candidates, hiring managers, vendors, Talent Acquisition Partners, and Senior Managers throughout the business.  The position provides an excellent opportunity to learn the business, build your professional brand and gain vital experience that will position you well for future advancement at STERIS.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide offer letter creation support to your assigned recruiter team.
  • Schedules interviews for candidates and handles other logistics related to candidate interviewing
  • Provide direct requisition/recruiter support which may include candidate review and screening.
  • Lead planning and execution efforts of career fairs and other hiring events.
  • Participate in hiring process optimization projects as needed. 
  • Provide support to key talent acquisition programs including customer satisfaction surveys, internship and employee referral programs.
  • Partner with our internal marketing team to evolve digital branding collateral 
  • Provide processing support for any TA related expenses, which may include direct interaction with vendors and 3rd party resources.  
  • Under the direction of TA leadership help with the preparation of presentation and report outs as needed.  

Required Experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting either human resources, talent acquisition, or marketing departments
  • Must have experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Must have Microsoft Office suite experience including Teams, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing recruiting support
  • Experience tracking, gathering and compiling data as well as report generation
  • Internet research or candidate search skills
