As Senior Financial Analyst you will play a crucial role supporting all acquisition, divestiture, and integration related activities; as well as gathering various financial and operational data; assisting with compliance efforts; performing analysis and reporting the results. You will leverage corporate financial policies, procedures, and modeling tools to reconcile, balance and report on various financial positions. Additionally, as a Financial Analyst, you will assist general accounting and intercompany accounting to ensure activity is analyzed and recorded accordingly. Additionally, this position requires participation in the monthly accounting close process, the internal and external financial reporting process and the on-going maintenance of financial systems data and processes. 

What will you do as a Sr. Financial Analyst?


Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis – 50%


  • Assist with all accounting and reporting research, and acquisition/divestiture activity as directed by  Manager, Accounting.
  • Interpret, apply and monitor the internal control policies, procedures, and practices of the Company as guided by Manager, Accounting to assure compliance with corporate policy, SOX controls, accounting and reporting guidance. 
  • Assist in the month, quarter and year-end financial close, internal and external reporting processes by creating and submitting various journal entries and developing reporting templates and analysis. 
  • Develop financial templates, models and analysis tools in Excel, Khalix and Cognos (standard financial reporting tools).
  • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.


Financial System Maintenance and Compliance – 50%


  • Responsible for maintenance of Corporate Financial Systems – Blackline, CoStar, other as required.
  • Assist with user training on Corporate Financial Systems as required.
  • Perform various financial inquiries using the Corporate Financial Systems and other ad-hoc assignments as requested.

What skills, abilities, and experience will you need?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 years of financial accounting, analysis, and reporting experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience applying knowledge of accounting and reporting guidance; or acquisition/divestiture operational processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables). Word and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced level experience in the use of business reporting and financial systems such as Oracle, Khalix, COGNOS, Blackline, CoStar, Workiva, Excel, etc.
  • Previous experience with financial analysis is preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting theory and application of financial accounting principles and the ability to effectively analyze accounting information and financial results for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process oriented with strong attention to detail and organized.
  • High level of interest and aptitude for financial systems.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
