The Role

Do you enjoy seeing a project through from start to finish? Does a highly collaborative role working with engineering, customer operations, material planning, purchasing and field technicians to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule sound like you? If so, join the STERIS Life Sciences team where you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and revising data bases associated with data stored in the STERIS Knowledge Management System (KMS), Digital Parts Catalog (DPC) and the STERIS E-Commerce platform as well as reviewing service documentation for content and formatting that is to be loaded to above platforms. You will also manage quoting and order fulfillment for Special Service Quotes and Orders (SSQ/SSO) to meet customer requirements for equipment modifications. 

What You Will Do

Project Management

  • Lead and drive the planning and implementation of multiple projects, varying in size and scope and recommends revisions in project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate the definition of projects’ scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manages day to day operational aspects of projects.
  • Works with manager to coordinate resource allocations across all projects.
  • Prepare and present project status update reports to the team and manager.

Data Engineering

  • Review service documentation for content and formatting prior to release and/or revision.
  • Maintain current documentation on knowledge management system (KMS) for STERIS life science products
  • Create and maintain data bases associated with Preventative Maintenance assignments.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Management

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree engineering, management or related field required.
  • 3+ years customer focused experience to include internal and external customers.
  • 5+ years experience working in an engineering environment.

What Will Help You

  • 3+ years previous project and team lead experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or experience in project management is desirable.
  • Project management software experience desirable.
  • Exceptional team player and cross-functional leader with excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in working with stakeholders to refine and meet project requirements.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
