Position Summary

Responsible for monthly cash forecasting, cash balance reporting, and investment monitoring. Responsible for maintaining all supporting documentation for intercompany borrowings and private placement notes. Responsible for preparing quarterly guarantee summary for financial reporting purposes plus various analyses for board of directors' meetings. Responsible for bank account relationship documentation including account openings, signatory changes, bank & governmental compliance. Assist in performing day-to-day cash management and share buy-back administration functions of the treasury operations department.  Also, analyze foreign exchange exposures and hedging programs performance. This position reports to the Manager, Treasury Operations.

What you will do:

Analysis & Reporting

  1. Analyze foreign exchange exposures and performance of foreign exchange and commodity hedging programs. 
  1. Analyze excess global cash balances and coordinate cross-functional meetings to develop action plans to efficiently repatriate cash.
  1. Monitor compliance with short-term investment policy.
  1. Monitor, reconcile, and prepare all supporting documentation for intercompany note summary.
  1. Conduct adhoc analyses and reporting.
  1. Gather supporting documentation and prepare guarantee summary schedule for 10-Q and 10-K reporting.
  1. Prepare various peer analyses and other analyses as requested for board meetings.
  1. Maintain and update all supporting documentation related to various private placement notes including note registration changes, contacts, and wire transfer instructions.
  1. Maintain master list of bank accounts including signatories and limits of authority.

 

Cash Management 

  1. Perform day-to-day cash management activities including executing FX trades and initiating or approving electronic funds transfers.
  1. Serve as the primary back up to the Treasury Analyst in performing day-to-day cash management activities including setting of daily position, making investment and borrowing decisions and executing related transactions, and administering the share repurchase program. Ensure that investment, borrowing, and disbursement of funds activities are accurate, timely, properly documented, and in compliance with Company policies. 
  1. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

 

Compliance

  1. Work with banks and internal STERIS personnel to obtain and prepare documentation for bank account openings and ongoing KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements. Update authorized signatures and related documentation as needed. Maintain supporting documentation for each banking relationship. 
  2. Update and maintain all information needed for annual Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR) for both corporate and personal returns.
  3. Monitor compliance with bank credit facility and private placement requirements.
What you need to be successful:
  1. Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of experience in treasury, accounting, finance, or banking required. 
  2. CTP certification a plus.
  3. Strong data gathering and analysis skills.
  4. Good oral and written communication skills.
  5. High degree of initiative.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  7. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  8. Oracle, Bloomberg and Microsoft PowerPoint experience a plus.
