Position Summary

The Senior Analyst will support the Healthcare Customer Operations Department. This position will work on numerous initiatives annually, working in a team environment under the leadership of the Operations Improvement Manager. The Senior Analyst will seek improvement opportunities by identifying areas of training, project and workload management and other areas as identified by Management. The Senior Analyst will partner with Management to understand their business and analytic needs, and provide data and insights to support ongoing improvement of business efficiencies and profitability.

This is a hybrid position based in Mentor, OH. Eligible to work hybrid after 90 days.


  • Independently leads, manages and prioritizes multiple projects and improvement initiatives
  • Creates detailed project plans for each initiative and ensures milestones are met
  • Develops and presents improvement ideas and recommendations for each initiative
  • Prepares and delivers all written and verbal communications emerging from the initiative
  • Collaborates with Manager and Director on the development of process improvement ideas and implementation
  • Oversees and assists analyst with project/report requests
  • Gathers and conducts data analysis by using multiple database management tools. Analyzes large, complex datasets to drive actionable insights and recommendations
  • Prepares enhanced reporting capabilities utilizing the various systems and tools to meet management needs
  • Work with the Manager to identify areas where reports, procedures, and processes can be automated

  • Creates and maintains scheduled reports in Oracle and Cognos as required
  • Develops ad-hoc reports on an as needed basis
  • Assists the Manager with systems testing and identification of issues
  • Supports the continuous improvement initiatives within the function, including standard work and the root-cause-countermeasure process in support of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Works within the department’s Lean tracking tools and provides data as needed for monthly documentation of performance against agreed-upon KPIs
  • Participates in Kaizen events when appropriate and supports the action plans that result from those events

Required Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business or related discipline
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel required

Preferred Experience

  • 2 years project management experience preferred
  • Experience with Cognos and Tableau preferred
  • Experience with report writing preferred
  • Lean practitioner experience preferred
  • Self-starter
  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills (data gathering, analysis and development of recommendations)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to think critically and strategically about proposed programs or process changes and provide meaningful insight to business stakeholders
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent organizational, communication (both verbal and written) and relationship skills conducive to collaboration
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and demonstrate a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
