Position Summary

The Sales Operations Systems Analyst is part of the Healthcare North American Commercial Operations organization and reports into the Senior Manager, Sales Operations.  Primary responsibilities include the maintenance of the Territory Assignment System (TAS) and MAPS Software System.  This includes management of our annual fiscal year sales channel realignment.

The position will also support maintenance of our Customer Relationship Management tool, Sales Connection.  This position will be responsible for administrative updates and changes within Sales Connection.  When requested, the Analyst will help support CRM improvements by assisting with Sales Connection releases through system testing and implementation under the direction of the Senior Manager, Sales Operations. This position will work cross functionally with field sales, sales and service management, IT and Customer Operations

To be successful in this position, the Sales Operations Systems Analyst must be comfortable working in a sales-driven environment and have success managing to deadlines.

Duties

Territory Alignment System (TAS) Administration and Support – 60%

The Territory Alignment System is a STERIS designed software solution used to create and manage sales territory alignments.TAS supports the revenue recognition and compensation process globally for sales, service and support territories.

  • Maintain and update the Territory Assignment System (TAS) and MAPS Software System.
    • Ensure territories are aligned to the correct Account Manager
    • Define territories per geography, Customer, sales channel and other factors
    • Provide user support including troubleshooting and issue resolution
    • Managing territory realignment processes
    • Generating territory maps
  • Design and create territories using MAPS Software System
    • Create, analyze and map territories to maximize sales potential
    • Generate Zone, Region and Territory maps
    • Load Index Points to support map creation and alignment exercises
    • Provide reporting to aid in decision making for territory alignment

 

CRM Administration and Support – 40%

Sales Connection is a STERIS designed Customer Relationship Management tool. 

  • Provide administrative and project support for all sales productivity tools including Sales Connection and 360 Reporting.
    • Complete maintenance activities related to system enhancements/changes (item creation/equipment builder maintenance/user access)
    • Conduct system testing.
    • Assist in the creation of training materials for end-users.
    • Provide user support which includes troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for Sales Connection in the form of training, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with Senior Manager, Sales Operations and Sales Force Efficiency Senior Analyst(s) to implement improvement ideas designed to enhance the functionality of CRM system.
  • Support data gathering and analysis of sales productivity tool usage rates and adoption by using database tools such as Microsoft Excel. 
  • Support creation of regular metrics in order to provide visibility to trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of all written and verbal communications regarding sales productivity tools.

Education Degree

Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • College degree required.
  • Knowledge of internal STERIS systems including Oracle, Informatica, 360 and Sales Connection preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of STERIS tenure with experience in Customer Operations, Sales Operations or Service Operations preferred.
  • Previous experience working directly with Sales and IT preferred.
  • Previous experience with CRM systems highly preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written) and relationship skills conducive to collaboration.
  • Excellent presentation skills before large and small groups.
  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with an appreciation for quality control.
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
