Position Summary

The Sales Operations Analyst will support the NA Commercial Operations group by working on lean initiatives, software implementation/upgrades and operational efficiencies under the leadership of the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations and Director, Sales Operations. The Sales Operations Analyst will partner with Healthcare leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business and analytic needs and provide data and insights to support ongoing improvement of business efficiencies and profitability. 

To be successful in this role, the Sales Operations Analyst must feel comfortable working in a sales-driven environment, running detailed analysis and managing and prioritizing multiple projects at the same time.


Project Management Support 

  • Participate on specific strategic and operational initiatives from start to finish representing the interests of Healthcare Sales Management and Operations
  • Work directly with the Sr. Manager, Sales Operations to help facilitate the definition of projects’ scope, goals and deliverables
  • Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings. Document and follow up on actions and decisions from meetings
  • Develop detailed project plans for each initiative, participate in requirements gathering, create supporting documentation and perform data analysis
  • Support the preparation and delivery of all written and verbal communications emerging from the initiative.  The Analyst is expected to make significant contributions to written documents and present some parts of the recommendation to members of the Healthcare leadership team.
  • Develop metrics for each initiative to track progress and share with HC leadership and team members
  • Use lean philosophies and methodology for process improvement
  • Assist in identifying KPIs and provide reporting on implemented solutions


Data Analysis and Reporting 

  • Conduct data gathering and analysis by using multiple database management tools.  Analyze large, complex datasets to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare, analyze and summarize data, make presentation of findings and provide written and verbal recommendations for improvement
  • Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to Sales & business teams

Continuous Improvement 

  • Supports the continuous improvement initiatives within the function, including standard work and the root-cause-countermeasure process in support of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Works within the department’s Lean tracking tools and provides data as needed for monthly documentation of performance against agreed-upon KPIs
  • Participates in Kaizen events when appropriate and supports the action plans that result from those events

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • 2-4 years of business experience
  • College degree required (business, math, finance preferred)
  • Knowledge and competency of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Experience with Oracle and Cognos preferred
  • Experience in participating or supporting at least 1 business project from concept to implementation

  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Knowledge / understanding of business processes
  • Excellent presentation skills before small and large groups
