Position Summary

The Sales Operations Efficiency Analyst is part of the Healthcare North American Commercial Operations organization and reports into the Senior Manager, Sales Operations.  Primary responsibilities include the maintenance of the Territory Assignment System (TAS) and MAPS Software System.  The position will maintain and support our current CRM tool - Sales Connection.  The Sales Operations Efficiency Analyst will also be responsible for the maintenance of Sales Connection enhancements under the supervision of the Senior Analyst(s).  The Analyst will be responsible for supporting the completion of these improvements by assisting with system testing and the development of training materials.  This position will work cross functionally with field sales, sales management, IT and sales support as needed.

To be successful in this position, the Sales Operations Efficiency Analyst must be comfortable working in a sales-driven environment and have success managing to deadlines.


  1. Maintain and update the Territory Assignment System (TAS) and MAPS Software System.
    • Ensure territories are aligned to the correct Account Manager
    • Managing territory realignment processes
    • Generating territory maps
  2. Provide administrative and project support for all sales productivity tools including Sales Connection and 360 Reporting.
    • Complete maintenance activities related to system enhancements/changes.
    • Conduct system testing.
    • Assist in the creation of training materials for end-users.
    • Provide user support which includes troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for Sales Connection in the form of training, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  4. Work closely with Senior Manager, Sales Operations and Senior Analyst(s) to implement improvement ideas designed to enhance the functionality of CRM system.
  5. Support data gathering and analysis of sales productivity tool usage rates and adoption by using database tools such as Microsoft Excel. 
  6. Support creation of regular metrics in order to provide visibility to trends and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Assist in the preparation of all written and verbal communications regarding sales productivity tools.  

Education Degree

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • College degree required
  • 2-3 years of CRM or Sales Support experience
  • Oracle and Cognos experience preferred
  • Knowledge of internal STERIS systems including Oracle, Informatica, 360 and Sales Connection.
  • Previous experience working directly with Sales and IT preferred.
